Applications are now open for the 2025 Africa CDC-Kofi Annan Global Health Leadership Fellowship Program, a prestigious initiative launched by the African Union Commission in partnership with the Kofi Annan Foundation. This program, which began on May 25, 2020, is specifically designed to identify and nurture future leaders in the field of public health across Africa. The fellowship aims to equip participants with the necessary skills, knowledge, and networks to effectively address the unique public health challenges facing the continent. It offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes leadership training, policy development, and strategic thinking, along with opportunities for hands-on experience in public health initiatives. Fellows will engage with experts from various fields, participate in collaborative projects, and explore innovative solutions to improve health systems in their home countries. By fostering a new generation of leaders, the program seeks to advance Africa’s public health systems and support the implementation of a new public health order that prioritizes health equity and sustainability.
