The Slingshot Challenge: A Comprehensive Step-by-Step Guide
1. Join the Challenge
To participate in the Slingshot Challenge, please click the registration button below. This will take you to the Videos For Change platform. If you are under 18 years of age, it is essential to provide your guardian's email address and obtain their consent before proceeding with your registration.
2. Get Inspired
Once registered, take some time to explore the vast array of resources available on the Videos For Change website. This includes watching example submission videos from previous Slingshot Challenge participants to gather ideas and inspiration. Additionally, you can download various challenge toolkits that offer valuable information and tips to help you in your creative process.
3. Dream and Develop Your Idea
Begin brainstorming your idea! We encourage you to sign up for one of our interactive workshops. During these sessions, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with other participants, share your thoughts, and receive guidance on refining your concept. This is also a great chance to ask any questions you might have and to connect with like-minded individuals from diverse backgrounds around the world.
4. Create and Submit Your Video
Finally, bring your idea to life by creating a 1-minute video that clearly explains your concept. Be sure to articulate your vision and how you plan to implement it. Once your video is complete, submit it for consideration. By participating, you could be in the running for an incredible opportunity to receive funding of up to $10,000 to turn your idea into reality.
